Our beautiful coastal towns are suffering , from the lack of tourists so many businesses rely on the holiday season to keep them afloat for a few months.
Go to your local corner shop, buy your milk and bread, spend those few cents more to go to a smaller petrol station, buy gifts from your local boutiques...not online...go to your local cafe, that 1 cup of coffee will be so appreciated by the cafe owner and staff, walk the streets, look like a tourist..people are always curious about a town when it looks busy..
In these harsh times, you need to be a tourist in your own town and buying local has never been more important for our long term survival!!
